Spoons wanted

I have found probably close to 100 old spoons and parts of spoons.
Most of these have come from farm fields and the plow did not do them any justice.
I have found my fair share from tearouts as well.

In order to increase my collection and possibly include them in my museum one day, my question is this:

Would anybody be interested in trading their (dug) spoons for Mercury dimes?
Shipping would be the only real drawback, but if I pay to ship you a few dimes, would you pay to ship me a few spoons?

sounds like a good trade.
I've held onto a few better condition older silver plated spoons,
and junked the bad ones in my scrap barrels, copper spoons, silver plated, even modern ones, forks and butter knives.....

I usually toss mine if they are just plated. I will start keeping them now if I find more.

I have a few spoons, if you're collecting them. One is a small aluminum spoon that is about the size of an ice cream cup spoon.

Do you just want old spoons or newer ones? I found a sterling spoon a while back but I doubt if it is older than the '40's.

I've only found some modern ones, except for a bent 'antique' spoon (which I think is silver.)

I'll send you mine Matt, gotta a few. PM me your address. I always wondered why more of this type trading doesn't go on. Many I'm sure have stuff they hang on to but no real interest in. While others have those particular things they love. Sounds like a no brainer to me. Happy to help.
