Car wash token

Hunting a 1912 synagogue that's about 30 feet from the railroad tracks. Trashiest place I've ever detected, but managed to pull a car wash token. Looks like someone put it on the tracks. Can't find too much on the history of car wash tokens, but I assume they're still in use. The soil is super dense, so pretty much all hits are less than four inches.

That sure looks like a RR track kill.

I can't see enough detail or read it to give you an educated guess on if it is still used. I have seen a lot of them while I was in Utah and most were still being used.
