Wow! You might as well be detecting in Iraq!

Got to be tough to survive the inner city's. I have found hundreds of pounds of 30 and 50 cals on the base I hunt...you can look at the bases of every tree and bush and find several I've thrown there after digging them up so I dont dig them again. The 50 cal bullet reads as a quarter...every time I detect one I hope its a quarter. They ring out the same, but the bullet is a little stronger.

I've a lot of spent shells, but I've only found two or three live ones so far. How do you guys dispose of them, I just toss them in the trash.

I think I heard somewhere to throw them in a can of oil and let em soak.

So far, they are in a crock on my desk. I should give them to the police or something I guess, Steve
I've found many at parks and shools as well. I throw mine in the trash also.

Wow! ... what a pile of ammo ... I haven't found more than two or three and I hunt rural farms where there are lots of hunters/shooters!
