After about an hour of digging I found this.
6 inches down with two pull tabs. Could not believe it.
Best coin find for me.

According to the books I believe it to be a large motto. Not that I can see the motto clearly
but I can count the feathers, 3 inside 4 outside, and there is only one berry on left leaf.

Very nice, congrats! That one is absolutely on my bucket list. What a beautiful coin design.
 
Thanks I went back to the spot. Lots and lots of pull tabs ;-)
I cannot believe there are so many pull tabs still in existence!
 
Took you an hour to dig down 6 inches? Geez, must have been hard ground.....;)

That's a beauty right there, congrats!
