hunt with GTP guy * 2 coppers & a ny civil war button

Scott made the trek up from RI to CT to do a hunt at a couple sites around here. He gave me a whoopin in the copper dept but I managed 2. one looks like a 1722-23 KG woods-hibernia half farthing and the other is a 1818 matron head LC. a few buttons and a NY civil war button. a ornate pewter bridle stud? a aluminum religous medal that rang out in the coin range & a chewed up large caliber lead musket ball.a nice hunt and was great to finally meet Scott.
these make 77th & 78th copper of the year.

Phenomenal hunt... Wow. I can't believe how many amazing locations you have access too that cough up so many coppers and buttons!
 
Great hunt! Looks like it was just as nice there as it was here today! Gotta love the cool fall sunny days, congrats on the coppers!

I guess you far from had that spot hunted out.

Nice buttons, the small one too, nice bold design.

I believe 1723-24 full farthing. 1722 noticeably different reverse.
