The Garrett Ace 300 and 400 especially is no slouch! Garrett has some good videos!

Thanks for posting that, Woodsmike - glad to see Garrett shining a little love on the Ace series still. Loved the ending, “rabid squirrel” and all!

I still use my ace at tot lots,its a keeper.

I've been swinging the same AT pro going on 7 years now. Not long ago I pulled up a merc (first one in a while) and showed my father that weekend. He decided he wants to start detecting now and the ace 400 is what I ended up talking him into getting...

All of that being said I know they are similar but anyone have any tips or tricks on this 400, settings etc? I seem to struggle to find VDI charts on this model even though I know they are close to the AT.

Great choice on machine! Best advice on a new machine is dig all solid repeatable signals until your confident in what it is telling you. No real shortcuts.
