4th and 5th trips to the school each yielded another V-nickel:shock:
This afternoon, I was in a neighboring city and found the 1895 V-nickel, these things are popping up everywhere!
This makes 5 total for the week, which is more than I usually find in a whole year.
I did dig about 20 pieces of foil or canslaw for each one, but it was worth it.
Also got another war nickel.
I am renaming this place Nickel School
Happy Hunting everybody

Congrats on the oldies. I love the adult token. Every adult token I've found so far has been from elementary schools.

I don't know why but war and v nickels elude me. I've found over 200 nickels this year and 30 of them are from the 40s but still no war nickel.

Nice Hunt !! Love finding nickels of any kind but a V is extra special !! Shield nickel is on my bucket list.

Wow, your killing those Vs!

Looking forward to a nice old gold from you shooting all those mid tones!

Your digging V's like a madman. I'm filled with Jealousy and Envy as I am still looking for my first. Congrats Matt on some great digs. Jack
