I haven’t posted in awhile. Detecting in our concrete soil and heat makes digging a pain. Thought I would share yesterdays attempt at treasure. It resulted in a 12 hour journey. Blown axle seal, damaged fender, and I had diarrhea from a bad deli sandwich. While I didn’t find anything mostly due to bad luck getting to the location it was still worth it. It was an 80/20 day. 80% pain and 20% badass!.

That's not the type of post you see everday!
Sorry to hear about the damage to your vehicle...

And the damage to your bowels :wow:

Awesome pics, quite some adventuring! National forest? Next time skip that deli, and you know the way and paved some of it, so you can get there quicker :)

Cool bear clawed log, I would have wanted to saw that puppy and make a side table out of it

The rock house/chimney(?) is awesome looking, gotta be a gold bearing taco there somewhere :)

The funny thing is people have knocked out parts of the chimney looking for hidden loot.

Now that looks like an excellent adventure!

That's hardcore! Wading through a river, driving over logs, enduring mud butt and bears, only to take the skunk. Beautiful scenery though.
