bigstemz. holes must be of such a form that is suitable for a specific concept and objectives of the instrument. it is clear that the enhanced models, where the distance between holes is much needed round holes (it's easier and cheaper) if scoop must quickly sift clean soil the holes should be 6 sided shape.
principally to make the right choice for your model scoop conditions, do not choose an easy 2 lbs scoop for that would dig into the rocks.
not need to select a stingy weighing 3 - 4 pounds for that to dig clean sand ...
I have more than 20 models of scoop, 10 of them on the website. also have a choice, and other manufacturers from 1 - 8 models. most importantly the right choice for your model and conditions of the design which is comfortable for work and health.
