Why choose the 3Khz over the 7.5Khz versus the 18.75 Khz?

Also, is there any difference in target ID between the 3?

Finally, Coiltek or Minelab?

Thanks in advance!

Answer to question #2: Slight. The Coiltek coils are hot, and they tend to ID about one notch higher. Part of the idea behind V-flex and it's being digital, is that they can pretty effectively program it to deliver the same ID regardless of chosen frequency.

Answer to question #3: There are 12 authorized coils available, and there is no redundancy, so each has it's place. It's not really a matter of one manufacturer over the other.

These coils are VERY hot for the size. You will be surprised how deep they get for such a small coil.
