Our standing late 1800's property permission just keeps producing cool stuff. The first good signal we got was an 85 about 6" down. Out came a 1909 Barber Dime. Sweet! Next we dug a 78 signal and out came a 1936 Wheatie. At this point we're getting excited.
We pull various items for the next 3 hours and then I get a very solid 91. Flip the plug and boom, there's a gold-looking round item in the plug.
My son yells, "A Vietnam war medallion!" This made me even more excited.
Then my breath was taken away when I saw the date...1781!!!
Flipping it over revealed the "real" date, 2010. Oh, and "Made in Taiwan"
Oh well, it made for a good laugh and we had a great time. HH all!
