I think I have found somewhere in the neighborhood of $15 in pocket change this year. Been busy restoring a 1953 cub tractor. Sandblasted the whole thing had to make some minor weld repairs. Had to make a new battery box and toolbox when you have access to a machine shop with breaks and presses not much of a problem. I have the plow and culivator that I am in the process of sandblasting. I will attach them to the tractor and just use it for show. Also did a gas boy pump sandblasted the whole thing and repainted it have it hooked up to my diesel fuel tank works great. And also did a Hoosier style cabinet completed took it a part. Had to make the bottom drawer which was the bread drawer little different wood. Plus that I have been planning gardens three to be exact. Also did a couple of cane bottomed chairs in between all this stuff:lol:

You better be here before July 16 if you want to see anything because that day I am having a auction which takes me all day. I sell everything that I possibly can have a lot to move. Actually I'm headed out right now to the restaurant for some breakfast and usual gossip time. Then I'm headed to the trout stream to do some fishing probably just thrown them back in. Also going to have the metal detector with me so you can't keep fish in the car too long.

You sure do some fine work Bergie, but now it is springtime so get out there and hunt!

Been trying to find some old houses to go around last 3 I have been turned down. Last one was a huge farmhouse big yard was like walking back in time In the old fella sure like to talk Had a huge potbelly stove sitting in the kitchen big old wooden table. The old gentleman was having buckwheat pancakes asked him if he liked real maple syrup which he did.Had to go down to the shop and I dropped him off a quart of syrup that didn't help neither:lol: He owns three huge farms with big old houses would love to go around them. Seemed like it gets harder and harder to find places to go a round here.

Nice work on the tractor. My Dad had an old Cockshut tractor that was his Dad's , that he wanted to restore and I told him I'd help him but life got in the way before I could help him . He died in 2010 so that is a missed opportunity. I've done some 100 year old fireplace mantels before , I enjoy that as well. Nice work you do there , thanks for the pics.

Great job on the tractor! I remember my dad restored and old Fordson tractor (w/ the steel spiked wheels and smooth steel front wheels) shortly before I was born ... It now just sits on the edge of the woods rusting away. I can't imagine how fun it would be to have access to a shop w/ breaks, presses and such. A nice heavy tubing bender setup to go in a press would be so great.

More nice work, Bergie! I admire guys like you that have the talent and patience to make old things beautiful again.
