Teknetics Delta 4000 Beach Tips

Hi All. I am a metal detecting noob and recently got a Teknetics Delta 4000. It was very easy to set up and is super user friendly with settings. However, I need some help with picking the best settings for dry sand detecting. If I use any sensitivity above 6 it seems to pick up readings every step, but if I go down to 4 I almost get nothing. Any tips? I'm not looking for anything particular but I would like to start finding more. Thanks!
