Yesterday I dug up a couple wheats and my second merc
!! After cleaning up the wheats a bit one of them, a 1919 s, was in pretty good shape, nice detail on Abe, could see the lines in his hair and good detail on the reverse being able to see all the detail of the wheat ears but noticed the O in One was only half there, the left side was gone!! Looked a little more and the wheat ear on the left only had lines on the right side of it! I'm pretty sure its not from being wore down as the rest of the coin has very good detail and those are the only two spots I saw that were like that, so is this a possible error coin like a greased die or something??? I don't know much about error coins so any info would be appriciated! Sorry for no pics, would post them if I could
