Finally got out for a hunt and visited the old fairgrounds that produced my 1856 Seated half a few weeks ago. This is the fourth time I have been on this property and managed to find a 1946D Roosevelt (FIRST YEAR MADE). I also found (10) lead balls, i am guessing are bullets or sling shot amo. Also found (3) fired bullets. Found the 1919 Wheatie and a couple of clad pennys. Was great weather and got to hunt with ksopie so all in all a Great Day hunting.

What an interesting assortment there! I wonder if those lead balls could be from a grape or cannister kind of shot? The look too roughly cast to be from a conventional black powder rifle...:?:
