I got back into muscle cars this year. This is the 1970 Buick GS I just completed the build on. It went to two shows and won both so far. It is a stunning car and the best build Ive done ever. Enjoy the pics. I have a favor to ask I cant make up my mind on the wheels. I have american racing wheels on it and im not sure if I like them. I also bought cragar wheels. What wheels would you put on the car?? The last 2 pics are the wheels.

In all honesty i think cragar wheels just look great on muscle cars.I personally think some guys go way overboard on wheels and it kinda takes away from the vintage look.Fine looking car you got there and congrats on the wins.

Thanks Rich Im thinking the samething. We only had 3 real choices in the 1970's,cragars,slots or stock.

Post me a side view of the car, and side view of both types wheel and I'll photoshop them on for you...

Here's my car with a PShopped jaguar print paint job and cragers.

I was wondering how it would look, so I did this:

I know pretty much nothing about cars sgtwilks. But....I do know that is one fine lookin' ride you got there. Nice work:thumbsup:

She is one beautiful car! You have an amazing ride there! IMHO some solid slots would really complete that car. Beefy and muscled just like your car. My very first car was a 67 Chevelle. I wish I still had it.

I vote for steel wheels with dog dishes. I plan on having a set to switch out on my Challenger and Cuda along with a set of Cragars and Ralleys

Very nice!

I'm a bit of a classic car restorer myself. I'm a bit partial to mustangs as you can see. Here is some of my projects from the last 6 years. Now I'm getting too old to be crawling around under cars so I bought me a newer pony that takes less work.

My current pony.

nice car.........my buddy had a GS when we were in high school, very fast. I think his had a 454 under the hood.

Here is my '71. I went out to crank it recently....I hadn't driven it in so long that not only was the battery dead but the fuel had all evaporated from the tank.

The last time I drove it I put $10 in before parking so it was about 2.5 gallons.

396SS engine, 4-speed, 3:42 gears, etc.

Thank you so much!! Here are the pics. If it is not too much trouble 2 6 inch black stripes on the hood would be cool.

Hey Sarge, No prob, but I will need straight on front view and rear view for the stripes.

For the rims, I need a straight on side shot of each type you're contemplating. :)

My Ride

Not as fast but its still fun, I bought it 14years ago in boxes and put it back together and painted it myself.
