using photo sharing sites for metal detecting research

Hi all, Thought I would share another resource for metal detecting research. Another avenue you can utilize are some of the photo sharing sites available on the net. Sites like Flickr and Panoramio are a good start. Type in the area you want to research and alot of times you will find pictures of the site which can prove usefull. You can also put in your county or city and pictures of points of interest will come up. I'm sure there are other sites but these are a start. If you do a search on the web you can probably find some sites with historical photos of your area as well. Good luck and HH.
