i went to a local park this morning that is receiving a facelift. piles of dirt scraped off the surface and mounded up and small berms along new drives. tried hunting the piles and berms but signals were scant and hard to locate. the ones that i did locate were large nails,nuts and bolts. i left the open dirt and moved to unopened ground and had a little better luck but still not many signals. i found a few deep square nails, a damaged silver and turquoise ring, a military insignia badge, a 1919 wheatie and a small amount of clad coins.
