Colonial Finds...

Hi,
I finally got out for a little while the other day at an old park. The large copper literally came out of the ground in this condition with very little cleaning. I also found a harmonica reed, a nice old button, some melted lead, the remains to what looks like a bell, and some sort of lead screw cap.

all i can say is WOW! I dream of finding a 1700s US coin. that 9 year window is so small!

That is a great looking Draped Bust!! I have found a small handful of them and most are completely toasted
