Good luck. Appears Netherlands allows detecting. Some European countries do not. Netherlands even has a system like UK for documenting finds. Check out https://www.portable-antiquities.nl/pan/#/public
Every place in Europe has usual, just like USA, of not detecting historic sites. Thankfully every field in Europe can hold amazing finds. I was fortunate to detect in Europe. Always amazed finding old coins and relics. Have fun.
