Hello all,

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! It's been good to have a bit of time off to catch up with friends and relatives, enjoy a glass of wine or two and of course detect..... Sadly, the weather has not been kind with storm after storm rolling in off the Atlantic, delivering lots of rain on the strong winds. I managed a quick session on Boxing day, but got out for a three hour blast yesterday. The stubble is well rotted now and just falls over when I push the coil through it.

1. Coins, buttons, buckles and penknife.

2. Bits and bobs.

3. Stamped into brass "A CHILLE.... PERSON" along with with something Latin perhaps bottom right? Better buttons, WW 1 Light Infantry shoulder title http://www.britishmilitarybadges.co...ire-light-infantry-regiment-shoulder-title-2/

Best wishes for the new year to you all.

Many thanks,

b.
