GB number seems stuck on AT Pro

I was in Pro Zero mode as I like to hunt that mode and noticed when I would push the GB button that the number didn't change.

So I manually change the GB and it sticks there.

So I go through modes and still no change.

I do a reset and left it there. I have no lack of good targets, so the detector is working.

Do I need to re read the manual?

But you can change the numbers manually? If so did you run it all the way down then try auto to see if it adjusts?

Try to balance it over an obvious metal object.

If things are silent and the numbers don't change, something is a miss here.

Sometimes mine seems to be stuck , but if I manually adjust it way low and then do the automatic setting it does work.

Around my local area mine almost always balances between 80 & 83 unless I get into some extremely different ground conditions like wet sand or clay. I just assumed that was normal. :shrug:
