what size is that bullet next to the grapeshot? .28 caliber? like a colt root ? not too shabby no matter what it is,

I'm not sure. I rely on the people on here to do all my i.d.ing. I was told the small dropped one is a colt 40 cal. Its the second one I've found. I don't know about the small shot bullet.

Congrats!

In my opinion, these are great finds because they are very historic. I would do anything to find a Minie Ball but they are not common in Illinois.
