I had to run my kid to camp this morning and on the way back, I stopped by a neighbor's yard sale. Saw a sterling marked candle holder that was pretty beat up. I asked how much. She said 2.00. Took me about 20 minutes to tear off the silver from the inside weight and once i got it all off, it weighted in at just over 2oz. Not a bad return for 20 minutes work. Beats digging bottle caps all day.

Nice find ! Gotta love sales where the owner is just looking to clean things out and dorsnt want to go to the effort to see if there is value to it. Your time is worth something!
