Default Is it gold?

I found this tiny ring a month ago.

There's no markings on it. The surface looked pitted under a loop, like it was plated or like clearcoat coming off a car. I thought it was junk.

I got a testing kit and rubbed it on the stone. The color is solid. 14k solution dissolves it all instantly.
10k solution slowly dissolved it.
I think this could be 10k or 9k. Is 9k even a thing?
Thoughts?

Meggie (in Australia) seems to find a lot of 9K rings

Looks like you got a 9 or 10K gold ring there. Nice!
