There is still a smelly dead rat aroma to this story I swear. But then again it happened in Kalifornia, so maybe it's just a smelly dead mouse aroma...

I want to believe ya katper, but how can a woman who has been punched in the face and kicked to the ground be charged with defending herself ?
I realize strange and quirky things can happen in the legal system, and I grant what you say is technically possible but nearly unbelievable.

well i have to stay that is alarming, the idea behind the story, especially since its in such close proximity to where i am. im new to this hobby, and its definitely one of the reasons why i havent gone detecting much, id rather have the company of someone else.
