Default Craigslist postings

What section should I put a posting that I am looking for old properties and or cellar holes to investigate / metal detect? Thanks all

I would put it under the lost+found in the community section. This way if people lose something and they go to post it then they will see the ad. That's what I'm gonna do anyways. Let us know if you get any calls. Good luck.

I have done a search on CL for metal detector and see an ad for that type thing a lot. Next to the ad it tells you what section it comes from. Hope this helps.

Just got a call from a CL add I put up. The guy was obviously watching American Diggers as he called him all excited, first question he asked "how do we split the treasure", he then went on to say he doesnt' have a MD but he digs up spots on his property already looking for things.

I said thanks but no thanks.

I've had great success with Craigslist. If someone contacts you and just wants to split "treasure" just tell them no thanks. Lol I do it every time and in a week or two they always seam to contact me again with a more reasonable view. Post your add in the "wanted" section. Works well for me anyway.
