After about a year of searching I found my first silver ring yesterday. It came out of the sand really brown like the silver coins I find, but I managed to clean it up a bit. I couldn't read it well on site, but 925 is stamped on the inside.

Finally got that one out of the way!

Thanks everyone! This was for real my first dug target of the day, which was something else. I was back at my favorite beach where I've dug a 1940 half, two silver 5 cent pieces and a large cent. Other than that I dug a bunch of coins from the 80's and 90's, and some more modern ones. All in all it tells me that this beach was never hit hard, and it still has secrets to reveal. I'll be hitting it hard again after the next storm. Would love to get the new ATX and get right in the water, without having to try to hear good signals through all the ground chatter, but I think I need to find that diamond ring first.

Is it marked with WM on the inside? It looks like a Wheeler Manufacturing ring...

No other markings inside or otherwise. Looks similar in design. Happy to have it anyway!
