A Forum Glossary ?

How about creating a glossary for our forum ?

The abbreviations and detector-talk slang frequently used in member posts are really cool, but often cause wonderment for this newbie. (as do "stickies, smilies, etc..).

Perhaps we could get a vote on this from the membership.

By the way, I was pleased to see the improvements on the Emoticons identifiers; this helps !

A Forum Glossary ? oops !

Sorreeee Carol K. (and opologies to members).

After submitting my post, started browsing and guess my angel lead me to the General Hobby Discussion; there I saw that you had already started a "Metal Detecting Lingo Glossary For Newbies". Well that took the wind out of my sails, I can tell ya ! :mad:

Emoticon would have been good here instead of the "Mad", but was not available....hint, hint.)

Just goes to show,especially newbies like myself, it pays to look over the forums before submitting a new post, so as not to waste time and embarass ourselves !
