Cleburne Tex. Coke bottle

I am hunting at a house that was torn down recently and found this busted bottle, but had a town name so I looked it up. Only thing I could find was someone else selling a whole bottle from 1923 on ebay hah.

Coke Bottles

Coca-Cola bottles were produced in many areas. From the 1920's-1950's the company had bottling plant all throughout the country.

There are ways of dating the bottles as well.

I often wondered if there are collectors for those bottles who try to get one of each town/city. I have a few different ones all fairly local. Mostly picked up on the roadside. A Coca-Cola plant in a nearby town was still using the returnable 6 oz. bottles in the late 80s, but it's closed now.

Judging by the size and style of that lettering and flat edge that bottle bottom dates to the 30s or a little earlier.

Thanks for the link and the info guys. Yeah, my coworker found a 1945 dime and I found a RHA headstamp made somewhere between 1906-1919 at this spot. Definitely plan to keep after it, but so much trash. We also found an old stone lined well, I intend to take some rope next time and climb down there.
