Grabbed the old Discovery 3300 and headed for the beach after the rain. Hunted the wet "dry sand". Things got started real slow. Didn't find my first quarter until hunting for over an hour. Thought is was going to be a waste of time, but things got progressively better. I think all the jewelery is junk, even though the bracelet indicated it might be good and is very heavy, I think it is plated. There are no marking on it, so probably just junk. Sure glad things picked up. Hate going all that way for nothing. The tabs just indicate the gold rings that weren't. Still a nice way to relax and let supper settle.:D

Hope you find lots more.

Question where would you find the most items. dry sand, wet sand or in shallow water?

I'd call that a good outing Rich. Lots of targets and the jewlery looks real enough to get the heart pumping for sure,

Sweet digs! The nice thing about beach clad is that it's so clean.

WTG 3300! I need to start heading out after supper to the beach too!

Rain improves detecting depths and usually finds inland too, lots of bracelets are marked only on the clasp, hope its !ORO!
