We hunted an old abandoned house not far from where we live. We also hunted the empty lot across the street from it thinking that maybe way back when before the road was built it would have been part of the property. The back yard had all kinds of junk scattered all over the yard and the lot had grass a foot tall. Signals were nothing but junk and there weren't even many of them. We came away totally skunked.

A Connecticut east coast hunt, at a juicy old house no less, and came away "skunked" ? No LC's, colonial coppers, reales and busts ? Sheesk, how boring

But seriously now: Luv that pix. Bummer the yard was so junky. And as for the foot-tall grass: Yup, this time of year (spring) always bites for trying to do sites like that. Too much spring growth. So this time of year is back to mowed turf, and watching for old-town demolition scrape projects :)
