Not sure what I found..

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum and I've been working my yard the last couple of days. I found a big piece of steel or iron, but I'm really unsure what it is. I also found what I think is a musket ball as well. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thank you!

Need something in the pic for size comparison
Not a musket ball. Could be grape shot, ball bearing or mill ball. The location you found it might help narrow it down

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I just took another picture with a nickel I found for size comparison. I live in Fayetteville, GA (south of Atlanta).

Your ball looks like it may have started out as a bearing.
your other piece looks like a Caster wheel bracket.

Iron piece looks like part of a hinge of some kind, maybe for a window shutter.

Not sure what I found..
