I knew it was going to be a good day when I found this ring. It was in a city owned abandoned lot along a sidewalk. That lot also gave up several wheats but it was getting hot so I went a couple blocks over and got permission at a 1905 built house. (with a shaded yard) after finding a couple more wheats and then clad quarter at 8", (that one had me pretty excited till I popped it out) And then 2 minutes later I ran across this beauty (1915S) at only 2" down and right next to the sidewalk. This was my first Barber quarter so I was pretty excited. I finished that yard and went directly across the street to a 1910 built house and in the middle of the yard 8" down my 2nd Barber emerged. It is a 1901. I started shaking because I know about the 1901 but unfortunately this one didn't have that beautiful "S" mintmark on it and its pretty worn but, either way I got 2 Barbers in one morning and I'll take that any day!
