Hello! I am buying a Tesoro Tiger Shark , what you guy's think!!!!
I will use it in Beach hunting and land!

I was looking at those also but was told not too good in saltwater, so I am still looking to make up my mind on a underwater unit... heard they do real good in the freashwater

Welcome to the forum Andrew.. I don't know either machine but I do know one of them doesn't like the salt water...

Welcome aboard Andrew, I hope the Tesoro is what works for you, being a semi new detector user, I found theres as many models as there are users. Its like buying a car. I would read the specs. carefully, they will tell if its water resistant, and I don't know how you can tell if if salt water resistant or not, if you clean it after you use the coil , I am sure you won;t be let down. The Sand Shark is the better salt water machine since its a PI unit. The Tiger Shark is a better than average freshwater detector and can be used on land also since it has VLF operation. If you're going to go to salt areas get something else. Freshwater ; this is a very economical detector to get. If you need any more help please let me know.
