Ace 250 or Prizm 111?

  I'm going to get a 2nd detector for my family and friends to have when they go along with me hunting.  Them walking beside me, is getting nerve racking. lol

  Anyway, which one is better?  I see alot of good things about the Ace 250, but isn't the lack of ground balancing a problem?

So, 250, Prizm, low end Fisher? What do I get?



  Any advice would be appreciated.  Thanks.

The Ace 250 is a good second. As far as the gb it's one less thing for your pards to worry about.

I use the ACE250 live in SW Michigan and I have hunted only one site where the ground was a problem. The ACE250 is a great machine and very easy to use. The ACE will notch out iron without loss of depth and that pretty much takes care of the ground!

Whatever you choose, they will have a blast with a seasoned friend to help them! Good Luck and HH!!
