Swanton is a good jump off location to a lot of old nearby towns and also has some pretty old dirt...I have been meaning to take a drive down there...I assume you have already hunted the HS and St Richards and that one old park with the ball diamonds South of the tracks? I bet getting into Swan Creek and wading it when it goes shallow for the summer would keep you quite busy even....If you can get into Sturtevants Pond just North of the Turnpike, you would do really well...Or over to Delta, the County Fairgrounds west of there, all sorts of decent old dirt...brachiopod fossils all over the place washing out of the clay banks even...
