fathers day trip

for fathers day my son and i went over to clearwater beach,arrived sat afternoon.having never been there we explored the beach walk and pier for awhile.what a beautiful town and especially the beach. i cant get over how clean it was compared to our local beach.anyway was waiting for the low tide sat nite to go hunt.i was a little(alot) sketchy about going in the water at nite, but did manage about knee deep(glad i did) first target was a big junker earring, then some clad then theprize of the nite my second gold chain this year. 20.5 g 10 k hunted a bit more then called it quits.was so excited stayed up till2 am to my sons amazement.the next morning was out in the water at sunrise hunted for about 3 hrs from knee to chin deep got 3 bottle caps 2 little junk earrings and some more clad.decided to stop and go get breakfast with my son, met some local hunters on the way seems no one was finding much of anything. just cherrypikin my way back to hotel along the waterline and got the find of a lifetime for me at least.. 18kgold and plat ring, thought it was a junker(as usual) and put it in my pocket. at hotel my son looks at it and says whats the writting inside,put my glasss on and started to grin ear to ear wow thats the best ive ever found still happy dancin. ring is 8.2g. hh+gl
