Love the axe head! Dang! Any idea on how old it is and who it might have been used by ?



This site is located along a coastal migration route that was settled along and traveled mostly late archaic through woodland periods by the Delaware and Lenne Lenape tribes. Howeve, earlier man has been proven to have occupied the area sooner and several other tribes have been known to travel through this area, abundant with shellfish and inland food sources. This is my first axe with a “multi-tool” style.

But no stone tools like those great ones you found.



Are you in SE PA?



South jersey is where I found them. They are very comparable with what you would find in eastern PA. Great site up by mill creek.
