Awesome dive the other day, took my time and had fun. Beautiful smooth water, a big bass following me around; I think he was trying to show me where the gold was and he did. I found a 10k gold class ring from 1930 (6.55 grams), then a silver religious medal, a 1944 merc, swim tags and other brass items. Came out of the water and had a conservation officer approach me and wanted to see what I found, he was very friendly, after that a water authority officer stopped by and asked me how the water was and how deep it is. Very nice guy, told me to have fun and left. Also had good luck at the dive shop, found out an old friend of mine works there part time. He is the one that got me into diveing years ago. He visulized and filled my tanks for free with the owners ok plus I helped them move some tanks around. He also wants me to dive with him and a group he goes with, he also wants to try out water detecting sometime. All in all a no rush relaxing fun day, thats what it is all about, finding the cool stuff is a plus.
