Had one last hunt before I head back to the states. Been a great time detecting the last 6 years in Europe. But only a few years and I will be back here. Happy Hunting everyone!

Nice assortment of finds. Are those coins in the last picture?

Yes. I found coins ranging from 1862 to 1983. Most were from WW2 crappy Zinc German coins but two are 1945 and 1943 wheat pennies. The crottle bell is from 1600-1700s.

Nice finds have a safe trip back to the states. What part of Italy where you in ?

I was in Vicenza for three years and Germany before that for three years but now in Germany for vacation for a week before we fly stateside.

Nice assortment of finds there! How did you find a 1943 wheat that wasn't a rusted disc?

Yeah surprised me also. But the ground was very dry and on a hill. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. But both wheaties were about 3 feet apart. So I think was a bivouac site before. I know when I dug my foxholes I always threw a quarter in the bottom for good luck but they were only about 4 inches deep.
