So I found these items on an old site and I’m curious as to what they could be. Anything I find could be from a civil war campsite or from a home site near after. The first item I’m sure is a hook of some sort but to what is what I’d like to know. The second item I have absolutely no clue what it could be. The final item I’m not sure as well but I thought it was electrical when I first dug it up now I’m thinking it’s something else. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Top item looks a bit like a shoe horn - a bit bent but right size... Maybe...

Salemdan, To me it seems to be purposely bent that way but I’ll look into that!

The bottom item is part of a clamp to attach wires such as telephone cables to a building.

Bayoutalker, awesome that definitely makes sense! Thanks! I’m still learning this stuff so some of the more obvious things aren’t always obvious to me]

That first one might be a trigger guard from some firearm? I'm no expert though.

Yeah, looking at it the size is right. No mounting hole, but there were LOTS of ways mount them. I had guessed shoe horn, but pretty small compared to fingers for that...

I’d love to find out that it was something that cool but I really feel like it’s some sort of hook. I usually like posting these Knick knacks to learn for future references not necessarily cause I feel they are important. With that being said I have learned of civil war relics that I had sitting in my junk pile for a while so I’d never be suprised if one of these objects I’m always positing ends up being a good relic I had no clue about.

That's what is great about this forum. There is almost always someone that can ID an item. The variety of experience is extraordinary.
