Default Help id a military button.

I found a button here in Wyoming that has a shield with a rook castle in left top of shield and a Fleur de lis in the bottom right corner. Can anybody help me identify the age.

And pictures of both sides.
Is the back iron or brass?
Any writing on the back?
What type of shank does it have?
We need all of these answers to give a good ID.
Thanks

Sounds like a blazer button.

I think I see your button in the middle of Dsm_mechva's posted picture.
With a steel back it is more than likely a 20th century blazer button.
