College is on its fall break so I took a trip to visit grandma in Iowa and do some swinging while I was up here. Went to the same area that I was last time in a park that was once a Civil War camp and dug 4 more fired roundballs and a possible carved lead bullet? All I know is it was in the area and its made of lead.

Then grandma called me up while I was out and told me she talked to her friend and got me permission at two mid-1850s houses. SCORE! The first house had almost no yard so it was a bust, the other house was right across the street and it was a little bigger so I had some hope. I dig a bout 3 zincs then I get a shallowish 76-77 (low for silver) on the AT Pro and at like 3 inches out pops a silver. I thought it was nothing at first till I saw the shield and her head. SAT DOWN! 4th seated this year and first out-of-state silver! GL&HH to all!
