just wondrin if there is any one else using one,got mine a few weeks back and find it a real extra
it packs down quick n easy to put in a day sack for the od hike and you can ajust the length if detecting steep banks and walls from the side also if rummiging around under bushy areas you have less length to get tangled in stuff

ahh, I love my Ace 250....
The telescopic shaft is good for packing my machine, especially when I need to smuggle it onto a site in a briefcase dressed as a lawyer :P

Besides telescoping , my Fisher 1266 XB breaks down into 3 pieces. Very easy to put in a small hard case for traveling. Steve in so az

a cool straight shaft

yeh my origonel shaft is in 3 bits to,a little fiddly for quick monuvers
i got this in france from a relic of a man he,s got his own little detecting biz going on near nimes maybe tony sells this kind of straight shaft?
