I recently received permission to detect on a circa 1960's property with a house and small shed that is destined to be demolished. I worked the 1/3 acre property and ended up with my first wheat penny (1940) and first silver quarter (1964).

The penny is nice and clean. And your silver just made it congratulations.HH
 
Yay! Congrats! That quarter didn't spend much time in somebody's pocket before it was lost.
 
Thanks all for the kind notes. I like to keep these in the collection. They all have a story attached to them.
