I spent a couple hours around some sand volleyball courts at a park and I got my first peice of sterling. It looks like a ring? And I swear i had a silver coin but i couldnt get to it under old tree roots. Also got another ring, perfect fit for the wife. And 2.17 in clad. Oh and a bobcat pressed penny!

2nd peice of sterling jewelry in as many days

Why start a new thread, 2nd day in a row with silver jewelry. I went to an old park with a baseball diamond. Thought i might have had my first gold, but it looks fake.

Thanks every one! Yea this hobby os starting to grow on my wife, she suggested we take the stroller and go to the park today so i can metal detect (find her more rings). I was really excited for a second when i uncovered the not gold ring. Still looking for my first gold, but happy to dig ailver and other rings all day.
