Hunted a couple spots today, hoping for some old silvers, or jewelry, or a bunch of clad, or whatever. It was not too rewarding until I dug this cool military pin. I found it is the Distinctive Unit Insignia (DUI) for the 16th Infantry Regiment. OK...that's cool! Then, after leaving plan B, I had about 20 minutes for a quick Plan C, so I hit an old looking curb strip. One wheat penny, a few clad coins, and this little old UNCAS STERLING bellflower ring! Not a bad afternoon after all.
