Plugs of somekind?

I was hunting near a ball diamond when I found these two objects about seventy-five feet apart. At first I thought they were bullets but taking a closer look I saw that they weren't. I have never found any before and don't know what they are used for.

Can you get better pics please? Those almost look like the batteries for my dog's collar (I have an invisible fence in my yard to contain my dogs within).

They are about the size of a bullet with two parallel raised ridges.
