Went out 630am this morning because it’s 105 today  hit up Elk Grove park from a couple of suggestions and man the area I picked was sure picked over  but still managed 1 wheat, 1920 no mint mark. It was about 7” under a tree root, you guys must have dropped it on your way out  I was surprised it actually found it (still learning my nox) lots of trash in that place for sure, but it seemed to do well. Found a few dimes, a Canadian penny, a few copper Lincoln’s. It was impossible to dig unless you were on lawn that gets watered, otherwise it was like digging in the street! I’ll try it again since it’s 5 min from home, Maby get lucky again. Thanks to the guys that gave me input

Congrats on the Wheatie. A hundred year old one at that. I generally judge a hunt a success if I'm able to dig a coin that is a hundred years old or better. I love diggin old wheaties. And remember if theres wheats there should be silver there too. Good luck, Mark

Hey thanks Mark, ya I’m sure there is something else lurking in that park. I’ll give it a go, I just moved here so I’m still scouting spots
